What does the term ';inspired style'; mean in reference to an item for sale on Ebay?

I am seriously considering buying a piece of jewelry on eBay. I sent a question to the seller asking if the article was the real brand or not, because he/she hadn't mentioned if it was in their description. When he/she replied, he/she told me that it was an ';inspired style necklace';. Does anyone know what that entails?
