Do sites like ebay, half.com, and amazon charge fees just for posting items for sale?

or do they charge only if your stuff sellsDo sites like ebay, half.com, and amazon charge fees just for posting items for sale?
Yes they do.

eBay charges per listing, category and through PayPal too. Amazon charges after each sale you make. I do not know about Half. Another ebay alternative is eBid.net as they have very low fees, friendly co-sellers, responsive administration, ease of listing. Many parts of the site is free to use unlike eBay.Do sites like ebay, half.com, and amazon charge fees just for posting items for sale?
It depends on the site, how many things you try to sell, and how much you sell it for. Ebay lets you sell like 3 things free a month. If you are trying to sell local it is a way better deal to go to craigslist.com its free, simple and is getting more popular than ebay in certain parts of the U.S.
Yes, usually a few dollars, and usually based on the amount the item sells for. Many times they will just deduct it from your earnings.
