not once its over, but the do have a reserve price you can set, so it wont sell if its under the amount that you want for itIf you put an item for sale in ebay and on bidding? Is it posible you can ....?
No. If you must have a certain amount, then set a reserve price. If it doesn't reach that amount, then there is no sale.
once the item is sold , no you can't. I once got a friend to bid a higher price for something that i changed my mind on, and then kept the item.
its simple..you can't cancel the bid. At least, you read first before bidding. here is the list you can find :

No once you post the item for sale your bound by contract to sell the item to winning bid, even if the wining bid is lower than what you were hoping for.





If you honor the winner you will get Bad rating and if you constantly get bad ratings no one will bid on anything even of good value if you post it.





I would suggest you take some lessons in Retail Sales with Bargaining as a factor.
