When you list an item for sale on Ebay, and it doesn't sell, do you still have to pay listing fees?

Yes, you pay an insertion fee based on the starting price of your auction. If your item doesn't sell, you can re-list it (must re-list, not sell similar or create a new listing). You are charged a second insertion fee, but if the item sells that time, the second insertion fee is credited to your account. The re-list credit is only available for an original listing. There are a few restrictions. When you list an item for sale on Ebay, and it doesn't sell, do you still have to pay listing fees?
Yes. They do offer a ';relist'; at no charge if the item doesn't sell- but that means they only charge you once instead of twice! When you list an item for sale on Ebay, and it doesn't sell, do you still have to pay listing fees?
To tell you the truth, yes, you do need to pay the fees. I am so sorry and I hate it too. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
yes
You sure do.
Yes they rip you off for everything they can get from you.

Whatever you do never list a reserve price because they charge you for doing that too.

Just list your private reserve as the ';starting price'; that way you at least don't get charged for having a reserve price then.

I was taken big time on that one even though the items didn't sell.
Yes you do. Thats why they call them listing fees. You pay listing fees then more fees IF it sells.
well yeah, but if you relist it and it sells, they get refunded.
yeah, often its worth hitting relist
unfortanatly, yes.
