Why do some sellers state ';US buyers only'; for their items for sale on eBay ?

Because they don't want to ship it out of the US....or maybe they don't trust buyers from countries with scammers. Why do some sellers state ';US buyers only'; for their items for sale on eBay ?
The seller is only interested in shipping to US addresses. International shipping can not ony be expensive, but it can be a pain. I have sold on eBay and shipped internatioanally. It is usually not worth the trouble unless the item sells for a larger profit. Why do some sellers state ';US buyers only'; for their items for sale on eBay ?
Shipment costs, afraid of spam, zero down their target area traceability of client accounts.
Probably because of shipping costs and payment issues.
usually because shipping to another country can seriously damage your pocketbook. Other reasons include the fact that most of us Americans can not properly convert the currencies, and don't want to deal with the hassle, or if you do all your transactions through the mail, payment, and such, it could take weeks to recieve the money, and even MORE time to receive said item.
could be a variety of reason but most of them are to do with shipping and handling ...payment type things ...some can not be deported from the states and some don't want currency from anywhere but the us
The cost of shipping stuff, internationally, can be quite expensive. Some sellers may not ship to non-mainland states as well (Alaska/Hawaii).
