The first thing anybody would see before clicking on a product on E-Bay is the headline for a product. If it doesn't appeal to them in the first microsecond, they probably won't click on it. Just my 2 cents, as I don't know what you're selling. We have placed some items for sale on E-Bay, but nobody has even looked at them, are we doing something wrong?
add a link and ill let you knowWe have placed some items for sale on E-Bay, but nobody has even looked at them, are we doing something wrong?
Ebay gives you selling tips...but some of my own is as follows:
1) Ensure you have a clear picture included
2) People like to know the item comes with a returns policy (about 7 days)
3) Offer options for posting or collecting the item
4) List it under the correct category, otherwise no one will see it where its needed.
5) Sell your item by giving A COMPLETE description of it. Amend it if necessary. Make the reader feel as if they absolutely cannot LIVE without your item.
make sure you uses as many buzz word as possible in the title: like name of shop name size colour as ie.
EVANS SEXY BLACK DRESS SIZE 16
THINK ABOUT THE ITEMS YOU LOOK AT AND WHY YU LOK AT THEM!! FURTHER MORE INCLUDE A GOOD CLEAR PICTURE.
GOOD LUCK
Have you included a pisture this always help if so maybe you need to explain the condition more.
A couple of pointers..
1..Include a real photo of the actual item
2..Describe the item fully including the condition as accurately as possible.
3..Wait. If you are selling a popular item and have the auction set to 10 days, it may not get any interest until the last day. Generally, people can't be bothered to click through more than a couple of pages of listings if there are loads.
Try a different catagory - look for a popular one and put them in there xx
wot r u hoping 2 sell?have you put wot ever u want 2 sell in the right cat/box?goodluck
How is your ad worded? Do you have a picture in the ad? Why should I buy your product? How would you answer these question? Plus there are some good tutorial in ebay that will assist you.
Make your ad stand out.
Give us a link and we might be able to help
Hi
How Long Have They Been On I was in the same place as you a few weeks ago and have now sold most of my items give it time?
Or try reducing or putting on ';Buy It Now'; I personally prefer this as you don't feel like you are stealing the item from someone Happy Selling x
More details pls.
hi john w, i also sell on eBay and have had relative success with sales, unfortunately i cannot see your listings so cannot comment.
But description is a big plus in eBay a lot of people only have a limited description of what they are selling, is it new or used, condition mint, new, good, fair, any other things you an add to it does it have any defects this may save time later on.
A good clear picture, a few let their selling down by putting either unclear or no pic at all.
also check before you sell, see if anybody else is selling the same product as you, are their many bids if any at all, if several people list the same item and no ones bids its a good chance that yours will not sell, unless you have the fortunate luck to have two people bidding.
